Journal of Human-AI Futures (JOHAF) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to research on the evolving relationships between humans, artificial intelligence, institutions, and society.
The journal publishes theoretical, empirical, experimental, conceptual, comparative, and policy-oriented studies across Human–AI Interaction and Collaboration; Responsible AI, Ethics and Governance; AI, Society and Human Transformation; and Futures of Human–AI Systems.
JOHAF particularly welcomes research that goes beyond the technical performance of artificial intelligence and explains its implications for human decision-making, trust, creativity, work, education, healthcare, organizations, public institutions, governance, ethics, and social transformation.
The journal encourages interdisciplinary contributions from computer science, human–computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, education, management, law, public policy, healthcare, philosophy, economics, engineering, and related disciplines, provided that the manuscript demonstrates a clear contribution to human–AI interaction, responsible AI, societal impact, governance, or future human–AI systems.
